Joyful Lady in waiting....

Lady in waiting....

The past few months I have been learning to wait... I feel like there are times that you want to give up that you want to throw up your hands. 

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6 NASB)

Soo during this time of waiting don't be anxious.... 

Yet you know that if you hold out waiting then God will bless you more than you have ever dreamed. 

Knowing that He knows the plans He has for my life. 

For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 NASB)

I am not going to lie there have been times that I've very much so considered running away from it all, but then again I remind myself that earlier this year I did ask God to teach me to wait for Him! 

Ok so waiting.... What to do while I wait for the Lord's timing... 

Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; 

Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, 

Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. (Psalm 37:7 NASB)

I've learned that just sitting back and waiting is one of the most painful things, so picking up a book....serving others....looking at other things in my personal life I need to work on and change. (that's been an ouch) 

Has changed this waiting into joy. 

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4 NASB)

Wait...hold up...so I'm to rejoice ALWAYS...not just in easy smooth sailing times but oh wait what's that word again? ALWAYS!!!! Even in the tails of life....that's not easy!!!

So my challenge is being...ready? A joyful lady in waiting...wow... One who totally trusts Christ in this time of waiting for Him...Not just in this time but always. Learning this...you have to have TRUST before you can WILLINGLY WAIT for the Lord.

Why Charming to Christ....

So the reason why the title of this is called Charming to Christ.....

No matter what we have been through in life, we are Charming to Christ. He loves us.
 Wow being charming to the King of all. Tha'ts pretty awesome! It is more than awesome its absolutely incredible. Thats a big deal! How can people in life feel worthless knowing that your charming and the King above all cares for you.

Why this is a big deal to me....

The past few months have been full of changes in my life. I have gone from sitting on the fence not really knowing what I believe to asking the LORD to break me and help me understand. My life has totally changed. The Lord is sooo amazing! Big thing I have learned is really how much the LORD love’s me and how HE will never fail me even when all around me things crumble and fall.

Reason why for starting a blog....

I was encouraged to. Plus I have to many notebooks that are full of random thoughts. And perhaps some of these thoughts or studies or whatever maybe encouraging or whatever to anyone. Feed back would be cool too! :)
